Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Faith is the first thing we should ask God for the highest position. In a part of the twentieth supplication of Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, Imam Sajjad (a.s.) says, “بَلِّغْ بِإِیمَانِی أَکْمَلَ الْإِیمَانِ...” (O God! Bring my faith to the most perfect degrees).”
In a speech at the birth celebration of the commanders of Karbala (Eid of Sha’ban Month) in Ali Ibn Al-Hussain (a.s.) Mosque located in Abuzar neighborhood of Tehran, while congratulating the blessed birth of Imam Sajjad (a.s.), Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, said, “The Infallibles (a.s.) have various positions, including the protection of religion, and the explanation and interpretation of divine verses.”
“Unfortunately, throughout history many people have mainly paid attention to the individual aspects of religion and paid less attention to the social dimensions of Islam. Religion is responsible for strengthening thought, belief, society, morality and human beings,” he stated.
“The key to human success is to move in the direction that God Almighty has legislated,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “God knows the wants and needs of man in the strict sense of the word, and the creator of man is the knower of all his needs.”
“One of the positions of Imams (a.s.) is the education and training of human beings. Imam, like the Prophet (p.b.u.h), is a teacher and mentor. The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) says, “إِنَّما بُعِثتُ مُعَلِّماً” (Indeed, I was sent as a teacher). This knowledge should be benefited by all people,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.
“Accepted prayer ascends man. In his prayer, man should have the feeling of being a person of Zikr and feeling close to God Almighty,” the representative of the Assembly of Experts continued, “If man has this feeling, he will reach peace. Some people feel anxiety and despair because to achieve peace they have moved in a path other than the divine path. However, not every way can bring peace to human beings.”
“Faith is the first thing we should ask God for the highest position. In a part of the twentieth supplication of Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, Imam Sajjad (a.s.) says, “بَلِّغْ بِإِیمَانِی أَکْمَلَ الْإِیمَانِ...” (O God! Bring my faith to the most perfect degrees),” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.
“Imam Sajjad (a.s.) emphasizes that man, in order to educate himself, he should allocate time for solitude with himself. Man feels pleasure when he speaks to the Almighty God in private, and the worst torment for a human being is when the pleasure of worshiping, praying, and talking to God is taken away from him,” continued the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“In addition to a relationship with God in private, man must also have a public relationship with God. In Islam, neither absolute private nor absolute public relations are acceptable. Man must help both himself and others,” he added.
