In a statement, while condemning the crime against the mourners for Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Afghanistan and Nigeria, and expressing condolences on the martyrdom of the mourners, AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly announced that these crimes committed to fuel sectarian discords and create religious wars.
The Assembly urged all figures, heads of Islamic countries, non-governmental institutions and organizations, ulama, authorities and lawyers of the international organizations and human rights, the United Nations and its Secretary General to condemn these incidents in the strict form.
The statement is as follows:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَمَنْ قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَانًا (قرآن کریم: سورة الإسراء، آیة: 33)
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“and whoever is killed wrongfully, We have certainly given his heir an authority” (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Isra, Verse: 33)
In the days of grief and sorrow for the martyrdom of the Lord of the Freemen of the World, Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his family and faithful companions, and following the magnificent mourning ceremonies by the lovers of the Infallible AhlulBayt (a.s.) all over the world, unfortunately so far we have witnessed countless suffering for Shiites in some of the countries; the bitter incidents that led to the martyrdom of a group of Shiites in Afghanistan and Nigeria on the day of Ashura, including the martyr Mohsen Madamasi, the nephew of patient and Mujahid Allameh, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, and for the fifth year consecutively, a number of mourners for AhlulBayt (a.s.) were martyred and injured by the Nigerian police forces, and another tragedy happend.
The vile violence of the police forces and Wahhabi extremists, which has always been a tool to achieve ominous, evil, and anti-human objectives, has no purpose other than fueling sectarian discords and creating religious wars.
Based on its inherent duty, while denouncing such criminal and terrorist acts, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly urged all figures, heads of Islamic countries, non-governmental institutions and organizations, ulama, authorities and lawyers of the international organizations and human rights, the United Nations and its Secretary General to condemn these incidents in the strict way, and take the preventive measures in this regard so that people in any country not be deprived of their civil rights and legal and human privileges.
وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ (قرآن الکریم، سورة: الشعراء، آیة: 227)
“And the wrongdoers will soon know at what goal they will end up.” (Holy Quran, Surah: Ash-Shu'ara, Verse: 227)
