ABNA has played an important role by translating Supreme Leader’s letter in 50 languages: Hojatulislam Salar
Hojatulislam Mohammad Salar: “the Ahlul Bayt News Agency -ABNA- has played an important role by translating the Supreme Leader’s letter in 50 languages and by cooperation in delivering and receiving the feedbacks of the letter from the members of the Ahlu
The 6th General Assembly of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly’s chief organizer stated: “the prominent characteristic of this year’s assembly was the close scrutiny of the problems and developments of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) followers.
Hojatulislam “Mohammad Salar” by stating that the annual assembly is held by the presence of the members of the General Assembly according to Articles of association, said: “the fruit of this assembly is displayed mostly in its special commissions which this year 11 regional and thematic commissions were held. 5 regional commissions and 6 thematic commissions were held to investigate the shortcomings and challenges and the problems which the followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS) face and solutions and suggestion have been proposed. The approvals and resolutions of these commissions are summarized and presented in the General meeting. And will be submitted to the Secretary-General of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly as approvals and resolutions of the 6th Assembly to be executed by the Supreme Council.”
Talking about the number of the Assembly’s members, he continued: “in the past, the Assembly had 530 members, but this year this number had reached 600 and about 700 members from 130 countries were present in this year’s program.”
He clarified: “one the characteristics of the 6th Assembly was the closer study of the Supreme Leader’s letter to the European and American youth which was discussed in the commissions and the members’ opinion to meet the demands of the Supreme Leader which were mentioned in the letter were collected.”
Appreciating the ABNA News Agency’s efforts in reflecting the Supreme Leader’s letter to the American and European youth, he stated that: “the ABNA News Agency has played an important role by translating the Supreme Leader’s letter in 50 languages and by cooperation in delivering and receiving the feedbacks of the letter from the members of the Ahlul Bayt( A) World Assembly. It is noteworthy that ABNA has been active in reflecting the updated news and events both in North Africa and the Middle-east.”
