The message is as follows:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

قال الإمام صادق علیه السلام: إذا ماتَ المُؤْمِنُ الفَقيهُ ثلمَ في الإسلامِ ثُلْمَة لا يَسُدُّها شَيْءٌ

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Imam Sadeq (a.s.): “Whenever a believer Faqih (Islamic jurist) passes away, there is an irreparable breach in Islam that nothing will cover it.”

The demise of the divine scholar, serving faqih (jurist), and son of the teacher of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.), the late Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Nurullah Shahabadi caused sorrow and grief.

The deceased, who was the last living son of the late alem, Grand Ayatollah Mirza Mohammad Ali Shahabadi (r.a.), a rare mystic and scholar of the contemporary era, spent his noble life in the way of learning, teaching, preaching, writing, translating, and educating students.

The late Ayatollah Nurullah Shahabadi, who had registered his name among the servants of Ashura culture by translating two books “Heirs of the Prophets” and “History of Karbala and the Holy Tomb Area of Imam Hussain (a.s.)”, also spent several years preaching internationally in Europe.

May the Almighty God reunite the pure soul of the blessed deceased with the souls of his honorable father and martyred brother, and grant patience and grace to the respected family of Shahabadi and Rouhani, as well as to all members of the bereaved family.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
