We need to have a civilizational view of Arbaeen: Ayatollah Ramazani
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “To strengthen the civilizational view of the Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussain (a.s.), we need to have a faithful presence in it and sincere loyalty to it. The glory of the Arbaeen event is to see the objective realization of the values of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and to introduce these values to society. Faithful presence requires sincere loyalty.”
ABWA Official Website – In the first international webinar “The Global Message of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.)” which was held with the presence of some international intellectuals and scholars, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Arbaeen is one of the religious, spiritual, and political rites and signs. Arbaeen is a divine phenomenon under divine guidance, which the Almighty God has given it to the prophets and Infallible Imams (a.s.), and then to the grand ulama and scholars.”
Stating that Arbaeen has vast capacities that are very important to know and use, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Using all capacities can be beneficial for the global and human society. This capacity can be for all Shiites and Muslims, as well as for the oppressed followers of liberation movements.”
“Hajj is known as the biggest religious, political, and spiritual rites of Muslims, who are present in Hajj from all nations, its most beautiful of which displays is during Mina days. However, Arbaeen is the biggest spiritual gathering among Muslims,” Ayatollah Ramazani expressed.

World Assembly stated, “To strengthen the civilizational view of the Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussain (a.s.), we need to have a faithful presence in it and sincere loyalty to it. The glory of the Arbaeen event is to see the objective realization of the values of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and to introduce these values to society. Faithful presence requires sincere loyalty. After the correct understanding and belief in the truth of Arbaeen, we must make a diligent effort to prepare the ground for the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.).”
“We need to have a civilizational view of the Arbaeen ceremony,” said Ayatollah Ramazani a member of the Council of Leadership Experts, “Imam Hussain (a.s.) is the character for all human history and can be used as a role model for any nation, and any religion at any time. Bearing in the mind that the human path is civilizational, the most important point to be considered in this path is to choose the best thoughts, opinions, ethics, and culture. Also, the content of Arbaeen can be software for the civilization of human society.”
“Revival of the spirit of monotheism, and strengthening and development of human beliefs, the revival of the tradition of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), identifying the heresies, moderation and rationality, true religiosity, freedom, liberty, and revival of divine and human values are among the messages and lessons that should be learned from the Arbaeen ceremony. Arbaeen can be a civilizational movement and a place for manifestation of Islamic values. It is necessary to know this event correctly, how and why it happened,” expressed the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Today, Arbaeen can strengthen the Resistance Front against the arrogant and tyrant front. We should use the capacity of Arbaeen for the Reappearance of the Savior, Imam Mahdi (a.s.). One of the important capacities of the Arbaeen ceremony is to use it for the Reappearance of the Savior to achieve a just peace. Such synergy should take place in human society, and we need to introduce this model to the oppressed of the world. Anyone who knows this model will accept Hussain (a.s.) as his or her Imam and will believe in the Savior after that,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.
“Hussain (a.s.) is the Imam of all humanity and every human being can use Imam Hussain (a.s.) as a role model. We should introduce Imam Hussain (a.s.) in such a way that everyone can follow Imam’s example according to his or her capacity,” said the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.)
