Empathy, freedom, Arbaeen’s universal lesson for humanity: Turk Shiite figure
The head of the Kawsar Institute of Türkiye stated, “The universal lesson of Arbaeen for humanity is empathy and freedom. Imam Hussain (a.s.) said in this regard: “If you have no religion, at least be free,” and we can witness such freedom in Arbaeen Great Walk.”
ABWA Official Website – In the first international webinar “The Global Message of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.)”, Sheikh Qadir Akaras, President of the Union of Turkish Shiite Scholars (Ahlader), pointed out the most important topics and achievements of Arbaeen. “In the Arbaeen Walk, we see the complete absence of any racism, and in this gathering, different people from all over the world, regardless of race, come together.”
“Today we are facing some extremist religious thinking in the world. But in the Arbaeen Walk, there is no mention of extremist and blind religiosity. In the Arbaeen school, this issue is rejected, and we can see a trans-religious identity and different religions unify under the same identity,” he added.
Referring to the culture of unity and empathy in the Arbaeen Walk, Sheikh Qadir Akaras said, “Different people with different identities and languages participate in this great epic, and the main condition of this presence is the good conduct and morality that are seen in this ceremony.”
The head of the Kawsar Institute of Türkiye stated, “One of the features and characteristics of the Arbaeen pilgrimage is sacrifice, something that we especially witness in various Mowkebs. Mowkeb owners welcome and entertain pilgrims with good manners.”
“What can be seen a lot along the Arbaeen Walk, is humble life,” Sheikh Qadir Akaras added, “Millions of enthusiast pilgrims of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and Imam Hussain (a.s.) participate on this route (Najaf-Karbala Road) with minimal facilities.”
