The representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Afghanistan stated, “One of the traditions of Afghan people in Ramadan is the invitation to Iftar. They also hold Quran reciting ceremonies in this month, and it is rare to find a house in the country where the Quran is not recited.”

World Assembly stated, “The month of Ramadan should be benefitted as a great opportunity to hold Quranic and Tafsir circles and sessions for the students of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University.”

مجمع جهانی اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام)، به عنوان یک تشکل جهانی و غیردولتی، از طرف گروهی از نخبگان جهان اسلام تشکیل شده است. اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام) به این دلیل بعنوان محور فعالیت انتخاب شده‎اند که در معارف اسلامی در کنار قرآن، محوری مقدس را که مورد پذیرش عامه مسلمین باشد، تشکیل می‎دهند.
مجمع جهانی اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام) دارای اساسنامه‎ای مشتمل بر هشت فصل و سی و سه ماده است.
