Chairman of the Council of Shiite Ulama of Afghanistan, said, “The martyrs of the Sayed Al-Shuhada Girls’ High School in Kabul were the followers of the school of Ashura and Imam Hussein (a.s.). These oppressed children were torn to pieces. Throughout history, such a crime is either rare or unparalleled. The successive attacks on Afghan Shiites are not accidental.”

Participants in the webinar “Why the Shiites are oppressed in Afghanistan; Strategies to strengthen the Shiite community”, called for identifying and punishing the perpetrators of the terrorist attack on Sayed Al-Shuhada Girls’ High School in Dasht-e Barchi, Kabul.

On the 40th day of the terrorist attack on Sayed Al-Shuhada Girls’ High School in Dasht-e Barchi, Kabul, and the martyrdom of tens of innocent fasting student girls, a commemoration ceremony was held by AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 5:00 PM Kabul and Tehran time.

After paying homage to the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (p.b.u.h) and the graves of Ulama, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly participated in the Iran’s 2021 elections and cast his vote in Dar al-Shifa Seminary’s ballot box.

Stating that unfortunately, some people say that they only want to boycott the election, and say that they will not vote because of the disqualification of some candidates, and recommend others not to participate in the election, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Such words are not the belief of the believer and sympathizer of the Islamic system. It is important that every Iranian, as an effective citizen, exercises his social right and participates in the elections.”

Following the meeting with Iraqi figures, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met Sheikh Mahdi al-Sumaidaie, director of the Iraqi Dar al-Ifta, and a prominent Sunni Sheikh of the country.

Stating that the election is a social right of citizens that should be used, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Participating in the election entitled us to be demanding of the elected person.”

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Westerners have raised the issue of Islamophobia and anti-Islamism. In contrast, Islamic scholars must introduce Islam as a religion of rationality, spirituality, tolerance and just peace.”
