The Secretary of the Academic Committee of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) said, “The enemies, especially the Nawasib and the Wahhabis, raise many doubts against Abu Talib (a.s.). For that, one of the goals of the conference is to remove ambiguity and doubts from him.”
“One of the important goals of this conference is to remove the ambiguity and doubt about his personality and also to provide strong and logical answers,” said the Secretary of the Academic Committee of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); The supporter of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h).
“Among the Shiites and the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), the character of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) has not received much consideration. In other words, unfortunately, little importance has been given to his position and role,” stated Hojat al-Islam “Abbas Jafari Farahani”, referring to the negligence made regarding the personality and position of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.).
“One of the goals of the conference is to collect articles and publish books in order to show his services and efforts to support Islam and the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) to the community, especially the youth,” he said, referring to the goals of the conference.
“In addition, the enemies, especially the Nawasib and the Wahhabis, raise many doubts and ambiguities about Abu Talib (a.s.). For this reason, one of the goals of the conference is to remove ambiguity and doubt from his personality and also to provide strong and logical answers,” stated Hojat al-Islam Jafari Farahani.
“In order to be available to everyone, the achievements and works of this conference will be published among the Sunnis in various forms, from books to clips,” he continued.
“In subjects of History and Life, Theology and Beliefs, Poetry and Literature, as well as books and authors who have written about him, academic and theological centers, especially border areas, have been invited to submit articles,” stated the Secretary of the Academic Committee of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.).
“So far, at least 30 articles have been submitted to the Conference Secretariat, which will be reviewed by the Academic Committee,” he continued.
“By the grace of Grace of God, the conference will be held with the presence of domestic and foreign guests in Qom on Rajab 25, 26 and 27, 1442 (March 9, 10 and 11, 2021) on the anniversary of the death of Abu Talib (a.s.),” stated Hojat al-Islam Jafari Farahani.
“Al-Mustafa International University, Center for Management of Seminaries, Jamiat Al-Zahra University, Ahl al-Bayt International University, Endowment and Charity Affairs Organization, Islamic Culture and Communication Organization and the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, are among centers and organizations which collaborate in holding this conference,” he said, referring to the cooperation of other centers in holding this conference.
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
