Criticizing the silence of the United Nations and some countries, the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Australia said, “The prolongation of the war on Yemen shows the high resistance of Yemeni people against global arrogance.”
Coinciding with the intensification of the aggression of the Arab-Western-Hebrew coalition in attacking the oppressed people of Yemen, the International Conference “Investigating the Dimensions of the Aggression against Yemen” was held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, by the Arbaeen International Foundation in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and coordinated institutions.
Speaking at the conference, while condemning the attack of European and regional countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE on Yemen, Hussein Al-Dirani, the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Australia, said, “This aggression has caused the devastation, backwardness, murder and atrocities that the world is witnessing.”
“The attacks of the powerful countries on Yemen not only have no not benefit for them, but they have suffered severe blows, and although there has been a lot of destruction and backwardness in this oppressed county, the aggressor countries have suffered more,” said the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Australia, while praising the fierce resistance of the Yemeni people.
“Yemen is like a solid and mythical wall,” he clarified, “The country’s resistance upset equations of global arrogance and the Saudis. This resistance is understood only by the believers.”
“Addressing the Yemeni people, army and groups, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, once said, ‘I wish I could be one of your fighters and Mujahideen under the banner of Sayed Houthi’,” the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Australia said, “This shows the faithful resistance of these strong people. Proper leadership, with faith and steadfastness, has a positive effect on people.”
“Seven years of brutal and barbaric attacks on the Yemeni people, in addition to leaving countless innocent martyrs, the hospitals and schools and other infrastructures were also attacked. This shows what barbarism the enemies of Yemen have in their nature. The steadfast Yemenis have become myths with their full faith,” Hussein al-Dirani stated, referring to Quranic verses about the victory of those who are steadfast in the way of God.
“The killing of the Yemeni people and the disregard for civilians are examples of war crimes,” he said, criticizing international organizations and indifferent countries for not supporting the oppressed people of Yemen.
“The enemies of Yemen understand nothing but the language of power. Resistance against enemies must continue, and they must be dealt a severe blow to retreat and end this war. The prolongation of the war on Yemen shows the resistance of the people of this oppressed country. We support Yemenis,” stated the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Australia, describing the enemies of the Yemen.
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
