ABWA Official Website – The opening ceremony of the 6th Exhibition of Books and Scientific Achievements of Seminary Research Centers entitled Meshkat was held on Sunday, January 7, 2024, with a speech by Ayatollah Arafi, the director of Iran’s seminaries, and attended by provincial and seminary officials at the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Complex of Martyrs Cemetery of Qom.
In an interview with ABNA on the sidelines of the exhibition, the head of the seminary’s international and communication center said, “The exhibition is being held after a short hiatus and a few years after the Covid Pandemic. The holding of this exhibition is valuable, especially since it exhibits new works that have not been exhibited in these few years. This year the exhibition has become interesting and full of new books and ideas. I recommend teachers to come and visit the exhibition.”
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly can offer new books, which have a global audience, to others. Therefore, the international influence of the exhibition can be significant. Also, the Assembly can hold a series of limited international exhibitions in different countries to introduce some selected books. Such exhibitions can include a series of activities such as international conferences and exhibitions, as well as the unveiling and review of books in the presence of figures,” he continued.
It is worth mentioning that the 6th Exhibition of Books and Scientific Achievements of Seminary Research Centers entitled Meshkat is open to the public from 7 to 12 January from 9 to 19. In this exhibition, more than 80 seminary research and publishing organizations, including the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, display their scientific and research achievements in 68 booths.
