Religious figures, Islamic world intellectuals met with Ayatollah Ramazani in Karbala

During the days of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly traveled to Iraq, and in addition to attending the Arbaeen Great Walk, he met and talked with a group of religious figures and Islamic world intellectuals in the Holy City of Karbala.

Among the people who met with the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly were Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Hojat al-Islam Rajah Nasser, the leader of the Islamic Unity Party of Pakistan, Dr. Akmal Kamel and Professor Miftah Fawzi from Indonesia, Dr. Abdulwahid Ibrahim from Malaysia, Mr. Ya’soub Abbas from India, Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Jafri from Pakistan, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Alireza Rizvi from Britan, Dr. Abdul Qayyum Sajjadi from Afghanistan, Sheikh Ahmad Jalala and Sheikh Muhammad Abdeh from Tanzania, Mrs. Ruqayyah Yusuf from Syria, Hojat al-Islam Noori, representative of the Parliament of Pakistan, Hojat al-Islam Islam Eidi and Hojat al-Islam Soleimani from the Balkan region, pilgrims and personalities figures from other religions and sects who came to Karbala for Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), and another group of religious intellectuals.

Among the other programs of Ayatollah Ramazani during his stay in the holy city of Karbala were meeting with the African and Iraqi missionaries, and meeting with a group of Urdu-speaking ulama from around the world, who were present in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (a.s.).

In these meetings, in which Hojat al-Islam Moinian, the Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was also present, regarding the affairs of AhlulBayt followers in different parts of the world, interaction with followers of other religions, sects, and schools, wise explanation of AhlulBayt teachings in the world, and investigation of the current affairs of the Islamic world were discussed.

This year and at the same time as the days of Arbaeen Pilgrimage, the temporary establishment of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Assembly’s officials in Karbala, provided an opportunity for religious and cultural figures and activists from different parts of the world to interact and synergize with each other.

From August 15th to 26th (10th to 21st Hijri month of Safar), 12 specialized meetings were held at the temporary camp of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly near the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Abbas (a.s.) in Karbala. More than 1,600 guests from about 30 countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, Tunisia, Palestine, Comoros, Yemen, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Myanmar, England, Portugal, America, Holland, France, Denmark, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania and Uruguay were present in these meetings.
