Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, “The enemies of Muhammadan Mission, have learned of the status and sanctity of Marjaiat and the extent of its influence in preserving Islam and society.”

The full English version of this message, which was originally issued in Arabic and was read by Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Aref at the closing ceremony of the Conference for Commemorating Mirza Mohammad Taghi Shirazi, is as follows:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِي الزَّبُورِ مِنْ بَعْدِ الذِّكْرِ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحُونَ (قرآن کریم، سوره انبیاء، آیه 105)

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“And certainly We wrote in the Book after the reminder that (as for) the land, My righteous servants shall inherit it.” (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Anbiya, Verse: 105)

In the Major Occultation era, Marjaiat assumed the responsibility of protecting the religion (Islam) and the Ummah from the abusers and impersonation of astray people and the oppression of oppressors.

There is no case of connection between our noble sources of emulation and tyrannical governments or supporting such governments from far or near in the history.

Our righteous faqih sources of emulation are the custodians of God’s orders in halal and haram, and their stances in fighting oppression and tyranny and trying to reform corruption in line with commitment to divine duties and trying to adapt carefully and vigilantly in line with the needs of each stage have been outstanding. They are the trustees of the messengers, inheritors of the prophets, and guiding leaders on behalf of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) who have been entrusted with the affairs of religion and the worldly life.

The enemies of Muhammadan Mission have learned of the status and sanctity of Marjaiat and the extent of its influence in preserving Islam and society from the oppression, corruption and tyranny, as well as neutralizing the cultural, political, economic, moral, and military plots of the colonialism. Especially after the victory of the Fatwa of the Great Mirza Shirazi in the Tobacco Movement, and the Fatwa against British colonialists by Mirza Mohammad Taghi Shirazi which led to the expel of this colonialist power from Iraq’s land to present time that the Fatwa of Kifaii Jihad against ISIS by Ayatollah Sistani bring great victory for the Islam and Muslims, the enemies of Islam and the Islamic Ummah have always tried to target the sanctity of Marjaiat and belittle their position.

This magnificent conference is pioneer in the scientific, cultural and educational cooperation to inform the generations about the facts of the history of Marjaiat and their positions in propagation of Islam to protect the religion and Ummah against destructive seditions and conspiracies and guiding and bringing it to the safe and calm shore, under the leadership of the Promised Imam of the Ummah, who include all good words, our Sayed and Master, Imam Mahdi (a.s.). May God include us and you among the best aide of the uprising of that Imam. I ask God for good acceptance and continued success for the organizers of this conference.

و الحمدلله رب العالمین

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds

Reza Ramazani
