At the 6th International Conference of Mujahideen in Exile, which was held on Wednesday afternoon, October 6, 2021, at the Talash Cultural Complex in Tehran, referring to the sacrifice of Ali Landi, a 15-year-old student who lost his life in a fire during help to two elderly women, the head of the Ministry of Education, stated, “This dear martyr revived the memory of 36,000 students of the imposed war (8-year Iraq-Iran War) in our hearts. I hope we can fulfill the duty that the martyrs entrusted us.”
“Holding such conferences plays an effective role in the victories of the Resistance and the development of the culture of jihad and martyrdom,” said Alireza Kazemi, referring to the holding of the International Mujahideen in exile Conference.
“From the beginning of the formation of Islam, the culture of jihad and martyrdom against infidelity and tyranny was formed. What has paved the way for the formation of a great Islamic civilization is nothing but the culture of jihad, self-sacrifice, and resistance, and today, it is one of the most important elements of the soft power of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of the Western world,” noted the head of the Ministry of Education, considering jihad and the culture of self-sacrifice and martyrdom as two issues born with Islam.
“As a body that is responsible for transmitting culture and values, we naturally feel our highest duty in this field to use all the capacities, facilities and capabilities available to us, to transmit the culture of jihad and martyrdom, which is the root of our authority and dignity throughout the world, to the new and future generations,” Kazemi emphasized.
“It is our duty to present the models of the Mujahideen in exile to the students and the new generation of the revolution,” the head of the Ministry of Education said, “We consider presenting Mujahideen in exile models to students as an educational opportunity for students. Certainly, the capacity of textbooks, festivals and memorials can help us to pass on the valuable and powerful culture of jihad and martyrdom to the next generation and to be able to defend our ideals and beliefs.”
