To commemorate the second anniversary of the demise of Ayatollah Sayed Hadi Khosroshahi, the webinar “Man of Approximation Square” was held on Sunday evening, February 20, 2022, by the Office for Iran Affairs of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and similar institutions.
Hojat al-Islam Ali Asghar Ohadi, cultural thinker and expert on international affairs emphasized, “Ayatollah Khosroshahi is the founder of the dialogue between religions and between Islamic denominations. He understood his purpose well and knew how to achieve it.”
“The late Khosroshahi was active in various fields and was the pioneer and founder of the idea in almost all fields. Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he was the only genius seminarian who opened the way for communication with the Islamic world and did valuable works,” he said, referring to one of the special characteristics of the late Ayatollah Khosroshahi, which has received less attention.
“The late Khosroshahi’s concern for the Islamic awakening is noteworthy. He understood the importance of the Islamic awakening and was well aware of its requirements. This was one of his plans and goals, and his connections with international personalities and institutions were prominent,” Ohadi continued.
“Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Awakening had sparks in the world but was not pervasive. Gradually, and with the efforts of the thinkers of the Islamic world, the Islamic awakening was promoted. Our country is also the center of the Islamic Awakening, but this issue is still not understood,” he added.
“Ayatollah Khosroshahi attached great importance to approximation and dialogue between denominations and was one of the pioneers of the approximation movement between denominations. He understood that the enemy would soon realize that one of the effective tools in preventing the Islamic awakening was to create divisions, so he tried in the approximation movement,” Ohadi emphasized.
“Ayatollah Khosroshahi attached great importance to approximation and dialogue between denominations, and he was one of the pioneers of approximation,” he emphasized.
“The spirit of (Islamic) awakening is that the scholars and thinkers who entered this field sought to revive global management. That is, they were tired of the ideology of the East and the West and understood the incompetence of these systems. Therefore, the Islamic Revolution was created to re-create the Islamic system and return to the original Islamic civilization and change the ruling system of the world. One of the most experienced people in this field was the late Khosroshahi, because he had collaborated with the leading movements in the Islamic Awakening,” Ohadi said, referring to the Islamic awakening in the world.
“We hope to be able to introduce the character of the late Ayatollah Khosroshahi to everyone,” he said in the end.
