With the approval of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the articles submitted to the “International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)” will have an ISC rating.
This request was made by the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.) - one of the collaborators of this conference - and was approved by the Ministry of Science.
In this way, thinkers and writers who submit their scientific papers to the conference and their papers are accepted, will benefit from the privileges and benefits of the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC).
In October 2008, at the 4th Meeting of the Ministers of Higher Education of the Islamic Countries (ICMHESR), in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC) was unanimously approved as the first Islamic World Citation System. Thus, according to the resolutions of this meeting, as well as the upcoming meetings of the Ministers of Higher Education of Islamic countries, all member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) were obliged to cooperate with the ISC. This base was established based on the approval of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution in 2008.
ISC, considering scientific standards, selects and indexes the scientific journals of Islamic countries, and has provided the necessary ground for improving the quality of research, and creating a continuous scientific network throughout the member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. This ranking system, by indexing full text articles, and analyzing the bibliographic information of those documents, annually introduces the top universities, journals, authors and scientific works of the Islamic world. This database is now one of the effective decision-making tools for a wide range of users, including universities and research institutes, publishers, faculty members, researchers, scientometrics analysts in the country and throughout Islamic countries.
Among the services of this base is determining the strengths and weak points of universities and research institutes at national and international levels by holding educational and scientific workshops. In this regard, several memorandums of understanding have been concluded with Islamic countries, and currently provides various services, including consulting and cooperation to hold workshops to promote the scientific status of universities and research institutes in Iran and other Islamic countries.
It should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, “Imam Hossein (a.s.) Holy Shrine”, “Hazrat Aboutaleb Research and Publishing Institute”, “The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought”, “Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy of Islamic Propagation Office”, “Al-Mustafa International University”, “Hawza Language teaching center”, “International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.)”, “Mirath-e Nabowat Cultural Institute”, “Jamiat al-Zahra Seminary University”, “Zorria al-Nabawia Research Center”, “Qasem ibn al-Hassan (a.s.)
