Scientific, missionary services to 1,600 pilgrims from 30 countries during Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.)
Referring to the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage in Karbala, the Deputy for International Affairs of the Assembly said, “More than 30 distinguished and influential figures from different countries delivered speeches in different fields at the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Karbala.”
ABWA Official Website – On Monday, September 30, 2024, a ceremony to honor the organizers and servants of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (a.s.) was held by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Tehran.
At the beginning of this ceremony, Hojat al-Islam Moinian, the Deputy for the International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Allameh Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah, and a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and then reported on the activities of the Assembly during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
“Arbaeen, as the greatest event during which Shiites are present at a specific place and time, provided an exceptional opportunity for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to provide services to foreign pilgrims with detailed plans,” Moinian said.
“In cooperation with the Management Office of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.), we could benefit from a hotel with a capacity of 250 people for 15 days in Karbala and next to the shrine of Hazrat Abbas (a.s.). During this this time, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly hosted 1,600 foreign pilgrims from 30 countries and provided scientific and missionary services,” he added.
The Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly noted, “Before this event, a webinar was held with the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, which was an introduction to the Arbaeen Conference.”
“We could benefit from the capacity of numerous figures from important Islamic countries. More than 30 distinguished and influential figures from different countries delivered speeches in different fields at the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Karbala,” Moinian added.
About the 10 scientific meetings held by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Arabic, English, Farsi, and Urdu Moinian said, “These scientific and specialized meetings were: “Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the Power of the Resistance Front,” “Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), an Unparalleled Media against the Silence Conspiracy,” “Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), Honor and Confronting the Arrogance,” “Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the Capacity of Building Civilization, and Globalization,” “Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), Hosseini Unity,” and “Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), a Zaynab Style Movement from Karbala to Quds.” In addition to these meetings, a specialized poetry meeting was held. Special meetings for students from different countries were among other programs of the Assembly. The main Arbaeen Conference of the Assembly, with the theme of “Endurance, Sustainability and Awakening” was held on the night of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.) with the presence of more than 250 guests and figures in the meeting hall of the hotel.”
“It was the first experience of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly at this level to hold its programs using all its capacities. The Cultural Committee of the Arbaeen Central Headquarters, the Cultural Department of the IRGC, Astan Quds Razavi, and especially the Management Office of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) assisted the Assembly to hold its programs and sessions,” he said at the end of his speech.

World Assembly during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, the head of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee stated, “We consider the first attendance of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Karbala, that is the international base and a refuge for Shiites, as auspicious.”

In this ceremony, Hojat al-Islam Hamid Ahmadi, the head of the Cultural and Educational Committee of Arbaeen, stated, “Arbaeen, with all its greatness, glory, and wide dimensions, is a valuable asset for Islamic Iran, the Islamic world, especially Shiites.”
“In Iran, the experience of joint work between the government and popular groups happened during Arbaeen. So much so that with all the governments that came to power in the country, this sincere cooperation between the government and the people’s groups happened, and the huge Arbaeen ceremony has been held,” he added.
“During the Arbaeen pilgrimage, more than 8 million pilgrims go from one country to another within two to three weeks, which is unique in the world. In the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), a religious and spiritual order is formed, which is important, and it is appropriate for journalists and writers to work on this topic,” continued the head of the Cultural and Educational Committee of the Arbaeen.
“We must try to make Arbaeen an accelerating factor and booster for the Islamic civilization, and this requires the production of literature, and practice,” Ahmadi said.
“This year, about 22 million pilgrims from 100 countries attended the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (a.s.), which is a rare event, and we need to appreciate the Iraqi government for providing the facilities,” he added.
Appreciating the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, the head of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee stated, “We consider the first attendance of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Karbala, that is the international base and a refuge for Shiites, as auspicious.”
“We would like to express our gratitude to the Ashura International Foundation and especially to the ABNA News Agency, which were active media outlets about the Arbaeen throughout the year,” Hojat al-Islam Ahmadi said.
“There is a serious need to produce scientific research journals in English, French, Urdu, and Arabic, as well as producing suitable and remarkable content. We hope this issue will be taken into consideration,” he said in the end.

The message of ABWA’s Secretary General on the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “With hearts satisfied with God’s will and destiny, and with sorrow, patience, and steadfastness, we sincerely offer our condolences on the martyrdom of the leader of the Islamic Resistance, fighter Allameh Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, and a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. We ask Almighty God to place him in the highest positions in paradise.”

وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ

“How many a prophet there has been with whom a multitude of godly men fought. They did not falter for what befell them in the way of Allah, neither did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and Allah loves the steadfast.” (Quran, 3: 146)
O children of our proud Islamic Ummah!
The Islamic world is grieving the martyrdom of the Islamic leader, Alavi Sayed, an outstanding and courageous Arab fighter and mujahid, who spent his honorable life in defense of truth, justice, and all the deprived. Relying on his inherent wisdom, power, and steadfastness, he resisted disbelief, arrogance, oppression, aggression, and occupation. He addressed the concerns of the nation, the poor, and the general public. He became a symbol for Palestine, the central ideal of the Islamic Ummah, and all free and honorable people and the whole of humanity. He was a gallant fighter in all fields of confrontation with evil and aggressive forces, and a scholarly and great leader of the Islamic Resistance, who thwarted the Zionist-American plots in the entire region.
Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was a diligent and humble servant for the people, the country, the nation, and the helpless. He was an example of the educated people of authentic Muhammadan Islam, and its missionaries and defenders, and this, in addition to his perfect speech and eloquent expression, could also be seen in his behavior. He was known as one of the pioneers of telling the truth, inspiring speeches and honest promises; and eventually, at the end of the eternal journey on the way to Bayt al-Moqaddas, he reached the felicity of martyrdom. May God make his memory and path eternal so that he can illuminate the path of the mujahid believers like a beacon.
With hearts satisfied with God’s will and destiny, and with sorrow, patience, and steadfastness, we sincerely offer our condolences on the martyrdom of the leader of the Islamic Resistance, fighter Allameh Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, and a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. We ask the Almighty God to place him in the highest positions and places, and to make him the companion of his ancestors the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and the Infallible Imams (a.s.), as well as martyrs and righteous people, and to grant him His vast mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure.
Sayed Hassan truly fulfilled his promise to God and sacrificed his life in this way. He spent his blessed life on a path full of jihad and sacrifice in the way of God and became an inspiring role model of steadfastness, jihad, and resistance against the savage Zionist enemy, and never changed in this direction.
On this sad occasion, on behalf of myself, and behalf of the members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and all its members and affiliates, I offer my deepest condolences and sympathy to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Islamic world, the sources of emulation, and his honorable family, respected children, relatives, his enthusiasts, the Islamic Ummah, proud Lebanese people, Mujahedin, his companions, the leadership board of Hezbollah and its members, valiant fighters in Islamic Resistance, people who support Great Nasrallah, and other felicitous martyrs who with or before him martyred in the way of supporting the oppressed in Lebanon, and the pride of Gaza.
This felicitous martyr was the standard bearer of resistance in the world, the embodiment of human dignity, a role model, and a teacher in politics, Jihad, science, and ethics. He sacrificed his precious life in the way of God and the right religion, resistance, the nation, homeland, and Palestine so that at the end of the path, he would join his ancestor, Imam Hussain (a.s.), and the righteous martyrs.
As the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei described him: “The Sayed of Resistance was not a just person, but an approach and a school which will continue. The Zionist criminals should know that they are too weak to harm the strong structure of Hezbollah.”
On this great calamity, we ask Almighty God to protect his respectful father, and his honorable family, who, by standing next to him became examples of patience and enduring the calamities, and for all his children, relatives, and enthusiasts, and for the heroes of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, I pray patience, reward, submission to God’s destiny and order, good end and persistence on the way to eternal victory.
Indeed, God is the Hearer and the Answerer.

ABWA’s statement denouncing assassination, martyrdom of Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General
“The martyrdom of the Lord of martyrs of the Resistance Front was not strange; just as the martyrdom of his predecessor Sayed Abbas Mousawi (may God have mercy on him) was not strange. We ask God for the position of the martyrs.”
ABWA Official Website – Denouncing the tragic martyrdom and assassination of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah by the Zionist regime, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly issued a statement.
The statement is as follows:
بسم الله قاصم الجبارين
In the Name of Allah, the Crusher of the disobedient
أَذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُم ظُلِمُوا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ (حج ۳۹)
“To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid;” (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Hajj, Verse: 39)
Eventually, the ferocious rabid animal and child-killing Israel stung, and aggrieved the Muslim world, the Ummah of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h), and wounded its heart with the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.
The position of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly regarding the martyrdom of the prominent member of its Supreme Council, the Lord of the Martyrs of Resistance Front, beloved Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, is nothing but profound and soulful sadness; as well as sympathy with the oppressed people of Lebanon and the helpless people of Palestine, and an emphasis on these crucial points:
The martyrdom of Lord of the Martyrs of the Resistance Front was not strange; just as the martyrdom of his predecessor Sayed Abbas Mousawi (may God have mercy on him) was not strange. We ask God for the position of the martyrs. “مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ” (Among the faithful are men who fulfill what they have pledged to Allah: there are some among them who have fulfilled their pledge) (Quran, 33: 23)
Although the cowardly assassination of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah inflicted a great wound, irreparable damage, and great pain to the body and soul of the Lebanese Hezbollah and the hearts of all the Muslims of the world, we emphasize that all parts of the Resistance Front, like a raging current, are still alive, vivid, growing, and full of hope for the days of reaching the peaks of victory. “نَصْرٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌ” (help from Allah and a speedy victory) (Quran, 61: 13).
Extraordinarily, with complete shamelessness, the United Nations surprises every sane and free person, because instead of establishing peace, punishing the aggressor, and respecting the right of legitimate defense, it approves and gives permission for the assassination of righteous people.
Today we can see the result of the sincere and compassionate relationship of the Lebanese Hezbollah and the school of thought of its great leaders, from Imam Musa Sadr to Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, with the Lebanese people, from Shiite to Sunni, from Christian to Jewish, from liberal to secular, and revolutionary, in their mourning and grieving for the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah. “إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّا” (Indeed those who have faith and do righteous deeds—the All-beneficent will endear them [to His creation].) (Quran, 19: 96).
History will always remember and record in its pages the name of the nobleman Sayed Hassan Nasrallah as a great mujahid, a flag bearer of Resistance in the region, a virtuous Islamic scholar, a political leader and manager, a true mujahid, a courageous lion, a commander in the field, a realistic scholar, a sincere leader, and an oppressed but powerful and eternal martyr. Therefore, today is not the end, but the beginning of Nasrallah, and definitely “we will be victorious”.
In the end, along with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly branches and its affiliates, we answer the order and fatwa of the wise leader of the free people and Shiites of the world – Imam Khamenei – and reiterate that we consider it Wajib and obligatory for us to Jihad against the Zionist enemy and confront usurper, oppressor and evil regime, as well as accompanying, sympathizing and assisting the oppressed people in Lebanon, Palestine, and other Muslims in other places, with all the facilities and types of Jihad, including our life, property, honor, science, knowledge and reputation. “وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ” (And the wrongdoers will soon know at what goal they will end up.) (Quran, 26: 227)

Teachings of AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, timeless: Ayatollah Ramazani
On Saturday, September 28, 2023, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Masoud Pour Sayed Aghaei, President of Ayande Roshan Institute, together with a group of professors and managers of the Institute, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
ABWA Official Website – On Saturday, September 28, 2023, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Masoud Pour Sayed Aghaei, President of Ayande Roshan (Bright Future) Institute, together with a group of professors and managers of the Institute, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
In this meeting, while appreciating this institution’s activities, and emphasizing the mutual activities of the two parties, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, with students from 33 countries, WikiShia active in 22 languages, and the Education Department of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly have significant capacity in spreading the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings in the international arena. Also, ABNA International News Agency, operating in 28 languages, and the Al-Thaqalayn satellite channel, are among the other capacities of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the field of media, which can produce and publish religious and Mahdavi teachings for international audiences.”
“It is necessary to pay attention to the issues related to Mahdism and its spread to the world people,” he said, “The world is changing completely, from cultural to social, and political aspects. The domination system was trying to dictate the unipolar world. But the Resistance Front defied it and succeeded in this way. Today, there is no longer a confrontation between the East and the West Blocs, but there is a confrontation between Islam and disbelief.”
The world is longing for social justice
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The world people are longing for social justice. According to the Quranic verses, seeking justice was the goal of all divine prophets. Also, according to the Quranic verses, to realize such a thing will face hardships and problems. The late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) based on Quranic verses said, “We are called on to two uprisings: an individual uprising to achieve Tawhid (monotheism), and a social uprising to achieve justice”.”
“Considering the new technologies, including artificial intelligence, is essential. Artificial intelligence is influential in all cultural and social developments in the world. Therefore, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution also emphasized using this technology. To be pioneers in all developments and events, we must pay attention to this field and other modern technologies,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.
Emphasizing the importance of providing a correct interpretation of the resistance’s thoughts to the international audience, he said, “Resistance is not for conquest or domination. Rather, it intends to provide a platform for justice, and as a result, the spread of divine mercy. Divine mercy is emphasized in Quranic verses and the way to reach it is confronting tyrants. The Resistance Front is confronting weeds of the region, but, unfortunately, we couldn’t introduce it properly.”
“For example, the word “Jihad”, due to the lack of a correct definition of it to the international audience, brings the meaning of “violence” to the minds of the Western audience and is considered an unholy matter. This change in concept also brings a change in value. In the West, the place of good deed and wrong has also changed. Some seek to eliminate Sharia in a liberal version of Islam and provide an alternative,” continued the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
The AhlulBayt (a.s.) lifestyle, software of the Islamic civilization
Ayatollah Ramazani considered the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school to be timeless and introduced the two important elements of reason and Fitrah (human divine nature) as its basis.
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) lifestyle is the software of the Islamic civilization,” he said, “In this regard, Imam Ali (a.s.) said: “Anyone who does not refine his soul has no benefit of wisdom.” According to reason, man should refine himself.”
