The conference “Commemoration of the Martyrs of Friday Prayers of Afghanistan” was held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom by the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the Assembly.
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “Afghanistan’s future depends on the measures taken by the rulers and the participation of the people. Afghanistan will have a good future if a government an inclusive government formed and does not allow foreign interference.”
Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, visited the wounded of the terrorist attack at the Shiite Mosque in Kandahar. Due to the severity of the injuries, at the request of the Afghan authorities, some of the injured in the terrorist attack have been transferred to the Islamic Republic of Iran to continue their treatment. Seeing the young children who were injured in the ISIL attack on the worshipers hurts the heart of every human being.
Following the meeting with Iraqi figures, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met Sheikh Mahdi al-Sumaidaie, director of the Iraqi Dar al-Ifta, and a prominent Sunni Sheikh of the country.
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Westerners have raised the issue of Islamophobia and anti-Islamism. In contrast, Islamic scholars must introduce Islam as a religion of rationality, spirituality, tolerance and just peace.”
In a statement, AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly condemned the ISIL terrorist attack on Kabul University that martyred a number of Afghan professors and students.
